Dr. Duncan received his college training at The Johns Hopkins University. He
followed his collegiate training with medical school at the University of South
Florida in Tampa, Florida. As his interest lay in the pediatric field, he
obtained his general pediatric training at the Duke University Medical Center in
Durham, North Carolina. His endocrine fellowship was provided by the University
of South Florida endocrine and metabolism fellowship program in Tampa, Florida
and St. Petersburg, Florida. Following his fellowship, Dr. Duncan served on the
pediatric endocrinology and metabolism faculty of the University of South
Florida until 1986. He started MIMA Pediatric Endocrinology in Palm Bay and

Dr. Hudson returned to Florida after completing his sub-specialty training at
Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona. Prior to his fellowship he completed his
residency in nearby Tampa at the University of South Florida. He became the
second pediatric endocrinologist for newborns, infants, children and adolescents
at Holmes Regional Medical Center providing care for metabolic, endocrine
diseases and diabetes. In addition to his inpatient duties as a consultant at
HRMC, Dr. Hudson has an office practice including being a pediatric
endocrinology provider for Florida’s Children’s Medical Services. Dr. Hudson’s
personal interests are community advocacy and outreach specifically addressing
the metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes in children. For more information on
